Equipment Compatibility
Hioma grinding wheels are compatible with rail grinding machines from leading manufacturers, including Geismar, Robel, Vossloh, Goldschmidt, Autech, Nencki, Windhoff, Lüddeneit & Scherf, and Mankinen - as well as most other brands of rail grinding equipment using standard e.g. M20, M14, M12, 4×M8, or 4×M10 mountings.
Quick Tips
- If you grind hard material choose a softer grade.
- If you grind soft material choose a harder grade.
- If you are unsure about optimal hardness, start with a softer quality and move step by step towards harder qualities.
- If quality appears soft, increase RPM.
- If quality appears hard, decrease RPM.
