Cup wheels with steel plate made specially for Rail joint grinding. The steel plate enable an even stronger fastening of the inserted nut. It also provides additional safety and strength to the wheel.
The wider 130mm cup wheel offers longer lifetime and more performance when grinding joint welds. So far, we haven’t encountered a grinding machine whose protective cover wouldn’t accommodate this high-performance wheel.
Equipment Compatibility
Hioma grinding wheels are compatible with rail grinding machines from leading manufacturers, including Geismar, Robel, Vossloh, Goldschmidt, Autech, Nencki, Windhoff, Lüddeneit & Scherf, and Mankinen — as well as most other brands of rail grinding equipment using standard M20, M14, M12, W5/8″, 4×M8, or 4×M10 mountings.
